Next Animated Short-film


"I just finished the first rough-cut of my 4th short film and I finalized the script. (year, I write the narration after the film is done. Weird) Now I just need to shoot one last shot, do the sound design and music and of course find a narrator and it will be finished!" - Voltaire on Facebook.

It will be called "DemiUrgeEmesis", and the 'tagline' is: "A desiccated cat is tormented by the skeletons of previous meals."

Projekt and Small & Creepy

NEW TRACKS
Voltaire played some new/exclusive tracks live in Salem, Massachusetts. YouTube user NikkiWraith uploaded video recordings of them. So far there is no other information about the tracks than is in the videos. For example, some of the titles might be incorrect or working titles. But here they are:

New Layout + New Dates


I added a brand new LAYOUT for the website! I hope it's likeable, and it's certainly a lot more functional than the old one.

I also updated the live dates, which included adding a date for OSLO, NORWAY - Voltaire's first non-UK-date in Europe. Or, as Voltaire himself says:

"I have shows in Salem, Mass this weekend and I just booked my first non-UK European show in Oslo, Norway for Feb 27th! Watch out Europe, here I come! Show details are on my Myspace page."

NEXT CD TITLE

"It's official. My next CD will be a disc for children called "Spooky Songs for Creepy Kids". It will feature songs I've done for kids, my Cartoon Network songs, plus some of my other songs with kid-friendly lyrics."

BLOG UPDATE + AQW


Voltaire has updated his blog with a new short-story, titled "Spit", originally published in the magazine "Cthulhu Sex".

He turned on the light, for whatever that was worth. A 40-watt bulb swinging at the end of a 10-foot cord swayed above him. Yellowed by time, tediously grinding past, like the rusty gears in a dying machine, the bulb screamed with every pendulous pass, desperately panting to stay aglow.

Hollywood Reporter - Chi-Chian feature!


Voltaire was on the front cover of the Hollywood Reporter today, the 29th of October, 2009!

"Production banner Framelight is ramping up. The company has optioned rights to the cult comic "Chi-Chian" and will develop it as a feature."
